Established in 2013

 

The team started out small, but had a passion to raise awareness in sustainability and campus unity at the University of California, San Diego. As the goal became more defined and attainable, its numbers in team members grew. During the 2014-2015 academic year, a team of 5 grew to 25. As the seniors graduated and passed down the torch, the team still remains at a strong number of 20 active members entering the 2015-2016 academic year. The beta project is projected to be installed in March 2016 and a 2.0 design is already in progress. The team members have been found to study in a range of majors, from environmental engineering to computer science to physics. The diverse student population at UCSD has come together in efforts of promoting student growth by using its campus resources.
